2. Purpose
This legal notice governs the use of the website ocr-id.com (hereinafter, the "Website"), owned by Labrax Soluciones, S.L. (hereinafter, "Labrax"), which presents the product OCR-ID, a mobile automatic number-plate recognition (ANPR) system onboard patrol cars, motorcycles, drones and portable kits, aimed at Local Police, Municipal Police and local councils.
Access to and use of the Website grants the status of user (hereinafter, the "User") and implies full and unreserved acceptance of the provisions included in this Legal Notice, as well as of the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
3. Conditions of use
The User undertakes to make appropriate use of the content and services offered through the Website, and agrees not to use them to:
- Engage in unlawful, illegal activities contrary to good faith and public order.
- Disseminate content or propaganda of a racist, xenophobic or pornographic nature, that promotes terrorism, or that violates human rights.
- Cause damage to the physical or logical systems of Labrax, its suppliers or third parties.
- Introduce or spread computer viruses or any other systems liable to cause damage.
- Attempt to access, use or manipulate data belonging to Labrax, third-party suppliers or other users.
- Reproduce, copy, distribute or alter the content without the owner's authorisation.
4. Intellectual and industrial property
All content on the Website — including, without limitation, text, photographs, graphics, images, icons, technology, software, graphic design, source code and the "OCR-ID" trademark — constitutes a work owned by Labrax, and no exploitation rights over it are transferred to the User beyond what is strictly necessary for the proper use of the Website.
Third-party trademarks, trade names or distinctive signs mentioned on the Website (Carmen®, Lynet or others) are owned by their respective proprietors, and access to the Website does not grant any rights over them.
5. Disclaimer of warranties and liability
Labrax shall not be liable, under any circumstances, for damages of any kind that may arise from, among others: errors or omissions in the content, unavailability of the Website, or the transmission of viruses or malicious programs within the content, notwithstanding having adopted the necessary technological measures to prevent this.
6. Third-party links
The Website may contain links to other third-party websites. Labrax exercises no control over such sites and is not responsible for their content. The inclusion of such links does not imply approval of the linked content.
7. Changes
Labrax reserves the right to make, without prior notice, any changes it deems appropriate to the content of the Website, both as regards the content and the conditions of use. Such changes are binding while they remain published and until they are validly replaced by later ones.
8. Data protection
The processing of Users' personal data is governed by the Privacy policy of this Website, in accordance with the GDPR and the LOPDGDD. The processing of licence plate readings generated by the OCR-ID system once deployed is governed by the processor agreement signed with each local authority, summarised on the Data protection page.
9. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from access to or use of the Website, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of A Coruña, unless applicable regulations provide for another mandatory jurisdiction.
